Started my journey the summer after my second year of university. My relationship with food really changed, I altered my philosophy to focus on what I SHOULD be eating rather than what I shouldn’t be eating. Lots of greens, tons of protein, and a good amount of fibre. That took away the restricting and negative relationship with food.
I also found exercises that I enjoyed… rather than killing myself on a treadmill. Once I found cardio routines and strength training exercises that I enjoyed I looked forward to the gym everyday!
Stay persistent, stay positive, and remember “skinny” and “fit” are not synonymous!
